Standard clean or deep clean?
A standard visit maintains a home that is already in reasonable order. A deep clean resets one that is not: baseboards, vents, inside cupboards, behind and under the furniture we can safely move. A first visit to a home we have not cleaned before is usually a deep clean, because the maintenance price assumes that work has been done once. After that, once or twice a year keeps the standing visit honest.
House cleaning or maid service?
The same crews, the same products and the same order of work. The difference is the arrangement, not the cleaning. Maid service is the standing housekeeping relationship, where the cleaners get to know the house and you get to know them. House cleaning describes the same visit by the job rather than the arrangement. Either page will get you a recurring plan.
Move-out clean or deep clean?
A move-out clean is a deep clean of an empty home, done to a handover standard: inside cupboards and drawers, inside the fridge, appliance exteriors, and every surface a landlord, agent or buyer is going to look at. If the rooms are still furnished and you are staying put, the service you want is a deep clean.
Home or workplace?
Office cleaning runs on the same products and the same crews, weekdays between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. It suits studios, salons, shops and small offices that can be cleaned during the working day. It does not suit floors that need an overnight or weekend crew, which is worth knowing before you ask for a quote.
The products don't change with the service.
A weekly visit and a one-time reset before you hand back the keys get the same eco-friendly products, in every room. Nothing needs airing out afterwards, and nothing smells like it's covering something up.

Which cleaning service do I need?
If you want a home kept in order, book recurring house cleaning or maid service. If it needs resetting first, start with a deep clean and put the recurring visit on top of it. If you are handing back keys or taking new ones, that is a move-out or move-in clean. If it is a workplace rather than a home, that is office cleaning. Eco-friendly is not a separate booking: the non-toxic products come with all of them.
How much does a clean cost?
There is a $133 minimum service charge on every visit. Beyond that, a quote is built from the size and condition of the home, how often we come, and what you want included, which is why we give a figure rather than publish a per-hour rate. What house cleaning costs in Portland sets out the bands by home size and frequency, with the assumptions behind each one.
Which parts of Portland do you cover?
Portland and the nearby metro, including Gresham and Oregon City. We do not cross the river into Vancouver, Washington, so if that is where you are we would rather say so here than after a quote. If you are unsure whether your address is in range, ask when you request a quote and we will tell you straight away.
What are your hours?
Cleaning visits run Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. There are no overnight or weekend crews. The office answers 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday. We are closed on July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, and we get in touch in advance if a holiday falls on your regular slot.
What happens on the first visit?
The crew walks the home with you at the start and again at the end, so the notes match what you actually want; that walkthrough is part of the booked time. First visits usually take longer than the visits that follow, because a first clean is doing work that will not need doing again. Some dust settles after we leave, and less of it each visit.
Can I change the service later, or what gets cleaned?
Yes, with notice. Add rooms, drop rooms, change frequency, or move between services. Some changes need us to extend the booked time, which changes the price, and a change that cuts the visit substantially needs 48 hours’ notice so the crew’s day is not left short. Schedule changes can take a couple of weeks to take effect.
How do I book, and how far ahead?
Send the quote form on this page and we usually come back within a business day with a figure and the first available slot. Recurring visits hold the same slot each time, which is why a cancellation inside 48 hours is charged at half the service and three reschedules a year is the limit on a regular plan.
