You are handing back a rental
The clean a landlord or property manager looks at is the oven, the bathroom and the kitchen, so those are where the time goes. Tell us the handover date and we work back from it. We clean to the standard an inspection looks for; what happens to a deposit is between you and them.
You are selling or handing over
An empty house shows better than a lived-in one, and a buyer walks through rooms rather than around furniture. This is the last clean before someone judges the place, and it usually sits between the final load leaving and the first viewing.
You are turning over a unit
Owners and property managers book the same clean between tenancies. Cupboards, appliances and bathrooms are the three that decide whether the next tenant thinks the place was looked after.

How it runs
One visit, not a plan
Move-out cleaning is a one-time service. There is a $133 minimum service charge and a two-hour minimum visit.
Timing
Your cleaners may arrive within an hour either side of the scheduled start. Book with room before a key handover rather than on the hour it happens.
Ovens
Run the oven’s self-cleaning cycle a day or two before we come. It is the item most often checked on a move-out, and without that cycle we may not have the time to finish it. Oven doors stay attached.
Access
We need a reliable way in. If we cannot get into the property the full service is charged, so leave a lockbox code or arrange to be there.
Booking
One to two weeks ahead where you can, especially at the end of the month when move-out dates cluster.

What does a move-out clean include?
Every room, top to bottom: inside all cabinets and drawers, inside the oven and refrigerator, baseboards and spot-cleaned walls, every floor vacuumed and mopped, bathrooms scrubbed, and closets and storage areas. An empty home is the point: nothing gets skipped because it was under something or behind something.
Will it get my deposit back?
We clean to the standard an inspection looks for, and we put the time into the oven, the kitchen and the bathroom because those are what get checked. What a landlord decides about a deposit is between you and them, and deductions can cover things cleaning does not touch, like damage or unpaid rent. If your agreement lists specific requirements, tell us before the visit.
How much does a move-out clean cost?
There is a $133 minimum service charge and a two-hour minimum visit; beyond that the quote comes from the size of the home and the condition it is in. An empty home is quicker than a furnished one, so a move-out clean usually costs less than the same square footage would with everything still in it.
How far ahead should I book?
One to two weeks where you can. Move-out dates cluster at the end of the month, which is when the schedule fills first. Tell us the handover date and we will work back from it rather than putting the clean on the same hour the keys change hands.
Do you clean apartments for move-out inspections?
Yes, and it is one of the visits we are asked for most. The details a property manager checks are the same in most buildings: inside the appliances, inside the cupboards, the bathroom, and the floors. Tell us the building or the management company if they have a checklist.
Do you shampoo the carpets?
No. We do not carry carpet cleaning equipment, so if the agreement asks for it, book a carpet cleaner separately and tell us, so the two are not scheduled over each other. Everything else on the list is ours.
What if the place is not empty yet?
We can work around what is left, but the value of a move-out clean is that the rooms are clear. If the furniture is staying put, what you are actually booking is a deep clean, and we would rather quote it as one than have the day come up short.
Do you clean inside the refrigerator?
Yes, it is part of a move-out clean. One thing worth knowing: scrubbing old food off refrigerator plastic can weaken it, and shelving and drawers sometimes crack or split as a result. Our cleaners are trained not to use too much force, but we cannot be responsible for that kind of breakage. Empty it before we arrive if you can.
Can you clean the garage, the patio or the outside windows?
No. Our equipment is not designed for outdoor surfaces, so patios, decks, garages, unfinished basements, rough concrete and exterior windows are all outside what we do. If you leave a broom out we are happy to sweep any of those areas on request, but do not count on them being part of the clean.
