The work is not the same in all three, so it helps to say which one you are booking when you ask for a quote.
You are renting somewhere new
The last clean this place had was done to somebody else’s standard, on their last day, in a hurry. The cupboards, the refrigerator and the bathroom are the three worth doing before you unpack into them.
You have bought a house
A sale usually leaves a house tidy rather than clean, and the walkthrough was about the building, not the kitchen drawers. This is the one moment the floors are clear and every surface is reachable at once.
You are moving in this week
The clean belongs after the previous occupant is out and before your furniture arrives. That window is often a single day, so tell us the key date early and we will book with room around it rather than on the hour.

How it runs
One visit, not a plan
Move-in cleaning is a one-time service. There is a $133 minimum service charge and a two-hour minimum visit. A recurring plan can start afterwards, once the home is yours.
Timing
Your cleaners may arrive within an hour either side of the scheduled start. Book with room before the removal van rather than on the hour it is due.
Ovens
If you can run the oven’s self-cleaning cycle a day or two before we come, we can do the inside properly. Without that cycle there may not be time to finish it, and oven doors stay attached either way.
Access
We need a reliable way in. If we cannot get into the property the full service is charged, so leave a lockbox code or arrange to meet us with the keys.
Condition
Tell us what state it was left in. Condition drives the time more than square footage does, and it is better in the quote than discovered on the day.

What does a move-in clean include?
Every room, top to bottom: inside all cabinets and drawers, inside the oven and refrigerator, baseboards and spot-cleaned walls, every floor vacuumed and mopped, bathrooms scrubbed, and closets and storage areas. It is the same detailed list as a move-out clean, done for the person arriving rather than the one leaving.
Should I book before or after the furniture arrives?
Before, every time. An empty home is the only chance to clean all of it at once, and cleaning around boxes costs more time for a worse result. If the van is already booked, aim for the day between the previous occupant leaving and your things landing.
How much does a move-in clean cost?
There is a $133 minimum service charge and a two-hour minimum visit; beyond that the quote comes from the size of the home and the state it was left in. An empty home is quicker than a furnished one, so it usually costs less than the same square footage would with everything still in it.
Can you clean on the day I get the keys?
Often, but leave room. Cleaners can arrive up to an hour either side of the scheduled start, and a key handover that slips takes the clean with it. Tell us the date early and we will build the slot around it.
What if the previous tenant left it in a state?
Tell us and we will quote for it rather than discover it on the day. Condition is what drives the time. Two things we cannot take on at any price: heavy mold, which is remediation work, and pet messes or body fluids, which need BBP certification we do not carry.
Is a move-in clean the same as a deep clean?
It is a deep clean of an empty home, which is the version that works best, because nothing has to be moved to reach anything. If the furniture is already in, book a deep clean instead and we will quote it that way.
Do you shampoo the carpets?
No. We do not carry carpet cleaning equipment. If the carpets need it before you move in, that is worth doing before we come, so book it separately and tell us the date.
Do you clean inside the refrigerator?
Yes, and on a move-in it is one of the first things worth doing. One thing to know: scrubbing old food off refrigerator plastic can weaken it, and shelving and drawers sometimes crack or split as a result. Our cleaners are trained not to use too much force, but we cannot be responsible for that kind of breakage.
Can we start a recurring plan after the move-in clean?
That is the usual path, and the pricing assumes it. A maintenance quote is built on the deep work having been done once, which is exactly what a move-in clean is, so the visits that follow are shorter and cost less. Weekly, bi-weekly and monthly are all available once you are in.
